Violent Nemamwa woman sinks teeth wizardry style into teenage girl
Midweek Reporter
A woman who is known for violent behaviour in the small community of Nemamwa has been reported to the Police after allegedly acting like a possessed person by sinking her teeth into a teenage girl over a minor dispute.
Nalanzi Magafutini (40) of Muzoroza Village under Chief Nemamwa inflicted injuries on Sarafina Munasi (19) including her legs, arms and back on seven other different spots with her teeth plucking off some chunks of flesh.
Sarafina had to be taken to the clinic for treatment as the wounds were so deep that she had to be given an anti tetanus shot.
The altercation occurred on October 18, 2024, at around 10am, following a minor dispute between Munasi and Magafutini’s 7-year-old daughter.
Masvingo Province ZRP spokesperson Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa confirmed the matter and advised the public to always seek arbitration whenever there is a misunderstanding or approach the law enforcement agency than to take the law into own hands as this may lead to dire consequences.
Dhewa told The Midweek Watch that Sarafina poked the girl’s forehead with her forefinger after she said, she was a girl of loose morals because she dates married men.
Immediately Magafutini’s daughter ran to report to her mother who immediately confronted the teenage girl and started biting her all over the body inflicting serious injuries and bleeding.
Magafutini was reported to the police and a docket was opened and was set to appear in court on October 28 but the matter was postponed as there were no medical reports.
