In a disaster of this magnitude the President can’t send junior Ministers. This is Zimbabwe’s worst national disaster since 1980. With more than 50 people perishing in a government owned form of transport, the President must have shown compassion, grieve and condolence by visiting families in Kariba. Mr. President declaring the incident a national disaster is not enough.
You ought to show your love, compassion, caring and sympathy with the grieving people of Kariba. Remember this accident has people blame your government on having an aged boat, failure to enforce compliance and many other issues.
Mr. President Mnangagwa it is your duty to show patriotism. Zimbabweans are waiting to see your reaction very soon. It might be that you even don’t know the difficulties the people of Kariba have in traveling so this is your chance to experience it and correct things.
