MASVINGO CITY-Lizve Vakira (30) from Masvingo City has been slapped with 245 hours of community service by Magistrate Conceptor Ngwerume for urinating all over his wife’s body, hitting her with fists and pushing her against the wall.
Vakira of 1748 Smart Street, Aphiri area in Mucheke was arrested for domestic violence on his wife Elina Nkomo(29) and was sentenced to 11 months in prison which were all suspended for five years.
It was the State case that on June 12, this year the accused came from the market and found his wife sleeping and then started urinating all over her body, hit her several times with fists all over the body and pushed her against the wall.
Vakira then took away Nkomo’s national identity card, one T-shirt, two cell phones valued at US$350.00 and nothing was recovered.
Nkomo reported the matter to the Police and was referred to the hospital where she was medically examined.
The medical affidavit was produced in court as an exhibit.
