BUHERA- In an impressive showcase of educational excellence, Brighton Maguya (33) has risen to prominence from the dusty Bikita district, significantly influencing the academic landscape.

Maguya has achieved unprecedented success in Buhera, being the first educator to guide a substantial cohort of students to outstanding performance in O-level examinations, accumulating a record of 32 A grades, 20 B grades, and 10 C grades at Mutiusinazita High School. This achievement positions him as a pivotal figure within the educational community.

His educational journey commenced at Masarira Primary School in Bikita, followed by advanced studies at Silveira High School, where he cultivated both academic skills and a profound passion for learning. As a graduate of Midlands State University (MSU) with honors in International Relations, Maguya has a solid theoretical foundation that informs his practical teaching methodologies.

Currently, Maguya serves as a Business Enterprise Skills educator at Mutiusinazita High School in Buhera, where he is dedicated to instilling entrepreneurial acumen and leadership skills in his students. His unwavering commitment to pedagogical excellence and enthusiasm for education have earned him significant respect and admiration from his pupils.
