Reformed Church in Zimbabwe run Jichidza High School in Zaka, has made significant strides in its academic performance, recording a 72.83% pass rate in the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council 2024 O Level exams.

This achievement marks a notable improvement from last year’s 62% pass rate, demonstrating the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
Thompson Charambira the school head told The Midweek Watch that a total of 67 students got five subjects and above, while 52 of those achieved five including English. Furthermore, and 27 had both English and Mathematics.
He added that, 93 students registered for five and above subjects, showcasing the school’s emphasis on academic rigor. However, five students scored 0 subjects, highlighting the need for continued support and improvement.
“We have implemented various initiatives to improve our academic performance, and it is heartening to see these efforts bearing fruit. We will continue to strive for excellence and provide our students with the best possible education,” said Charambira.
“We are grateful for the partnership we have with our parents and the community, who have been instrumental in our success. We look forward to continuing this partnership and achieving even greater heights in future,” he added.
