Reformed Church in Zimbabwe run Nyashanu High School in Buhera District has exceeded its 2023 pass rate of 92.4% by a rise of 0.37% in the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council 2024 exams at O Level.

Jackson Dunatuna, the school’s head said a total of 166 students sat for the exams, and an impressive 90 achieved five or more subjects, including Mathematics and English. A total of 133 candidates passed five and more subjects, including English, a testament to the school’s emphasis on linguistic proficiency.
The top performers were the cynosure of the school, with Zubair Mutasa emerging as the best male student, achieving an outstanding 10As and 2Bs and Munashe Karimazondo achieving a phenomenal 12As to become the top female student.
“We are thrilled to have sustained our academic excellence, and we attribute this success to our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and most importantly, our hardworking students, our approach to education is holistic, focusing on the development of the whole child, and these results demonstrate the effectiveness of our methodology,” said Dunatuna.
