Beta Brands to celebrate Uhuru in style

MURAMBINDA- As the Independence Day draw closer, gold mining concern, Beta Brands has organised celebrations with a difference.
Beta Brands mining manager, Alexio Guyo told The Midweek Watch that they decided to celebrate this year’s Uhuru in style by ferrying thousands of their employees to and from Murambinda B Secondary School where the national event will be held.
Guyo said that he is organizing free transport for all artisanal miners interested in attending the Uhuru national celebrations, which are being held in Manicaland for the first time since the country gained its hard won Independence from the British on April 18, 1980.
There is going to be a pick up point for those interested partaking in the unique celebrations in the morning on the 18th to the venue where the Uhuru celebrations will be held.
After the main event, the artisanal miners will descend on the up market Mandunde Liquor Center along Nyazura Road for the after party event and back to Penhalonga later on.
“There is going to be braai, alcohol will be sold at pump price and there is going to be abundant meat at Mandunde Butchery.
“Everyone is invited to celebrate the big day on our national calendar, the event is one not to miss as it is the first of its kind,” added Guyo.
