GWERU- Zimbabwe Socio-Economic Democrats (ZSD) party leader Nkosikhona Ndlovu has lambasted the vision ED2030 agenda by Zanu-PF saying yesterday’s protests were an indication of its rejection by the people.

In a statement, Ndlovu dismissed reports that it was business as usual in most cities.
“It was not business as usual contrary to what the delusional government had publicised.
“Zimbabweans have spoken, and the message is clear. The stay away was an indication that the 2030 agenda will dismally fail even if a referendum to change presidential limits is done.
“It’s a big No from the masses Zimbabweans have moved beyond party politics. True revolution will come from the masses not Zanu-PF renegades. We refuse to ‘Chinhu Chedu’ individuals . Zanu-PF is an oppressive system and a cult. Zimbabwe will be free on our own terms and we refuse to become Zanu-PF pawns,” he said.
Some government employees did not go to work while most shops were closed in towns like Bulawayo, Harare, Chinhoyi, Kwekwe and Gweru.
Streets in Harare and other cities had light human and vehicle traffic and most shops were closed in the early hours of yesterday.
War veterans led by exZanu PF Central Committee member Blessed Bombshell Geza had called for the government to be toppled on grounds that it allegedly had largely failed to tackle economic challenges and corruption.
