MASVINGO-THE ruling Zanu PF party which is battling factionalism within its ranks due to the ED2030 agenda has come up with a new slogan encouraging President Mnangangwa to stay beyond his constitutional limit.

The new slogan ‘mapersuaders hoye’ was coined in response to President Mnangagwa who for the fourth time said he will not exceed his constitutional two terms in office and “will persuade the persuaders not to persuade me”.

The slogan was vociferously chanted during the Masvingo West thank you rally at Gwengavi Primary School last Saturday where war veterans were each gifted with a bicycle, $120, food hamper, 10kg bag of mealie meal and promised beautiful houses by ‘man of the moment’ wealthy presidential advisor Paul Tungwarara.

The thank you rally was meant to celebrate Masvingo West MP’s victory in the 2023 harmonised elections.
