MIDWEEK REPORTER

MASVINGO-Upcoming modelling sensation and reigning second runner up Miss Toto Africa, Dillish Makatendeka Masango has been awarded an educational scholarship by Noah Marima.

Marima runs Junior Holdings as well as upmarket Junior Primary School in the leafy suburb of Rhodene where Dellish will now be learning beginning next term.

Dillish was a learner at Victoria Junior Primary School doing grade One and Marima said they decided to give the young model the type of education that befits her growing status as a philanthropist and celebrity.

Her mother, Rumbidzai Chisangowerotah was in cloud nine when she visited The Midweek Watch offices to break the good news.

“I thought you would go ahead and tell them the good news” said the mother to Dillish who quickly complied and told the newsroom that she was now moving to Junior Primary, a private school beginning next term.

“Dillish is very active and full of energy, she motivates other young learners hence we decided to give her the best education available in the city befitting of her status, she must get the best at all levels so that she continues to inspire others of her age.

“This is one way of giving back to the community that we live in and do business, education unlocks many opportunities hence one won’t go wrong by pursuing it,” said Marima.

Marima told The Midweek Watch that Dillish has an option of joining the boarding school when she gets to grade 3 as the facility is not available for lower grades.

Dillish came into the limelight in 2023 when she was crowned Miss Toto Zimbabwe and went to represent the country at the continental competitions where she came third and won a ticket for the world event in USA.

She exudes confidence in all that she participates in and is academically gifted as well.
