This is the worst Heroes Holiday accident since 1980.The nation is mourning.
Social media has played a great role in raising alarm for quick response from relevant authorities. It is however, important for social media handlers to allow responsible authority to give correct/ accurate information.
In as much as we are devastated by the disaster we must learn to handle such critical information. We all know the nation /citizens have more questions than answers.
We all are concerned about the age of the boat? We all want its maintenance history? We have questions of the carrying capacity of the boat? We are concerned about the safety and security standards of these boats? We have many unanswered questions. As citizens we demand more than just government declaring it a national disaster. We are a concerned citizen!!
This was a government boat. The government must apologize to the nation first and honestly give information to the citizens.
