Zanu PF youths, Women’s League and patriotic citizens must demand the Minister of Transport Hon Felix Mhona to resign. The Kariba Boat Disaster is a shame. If Minister Mhona has a human face then the honourable thing is for him to resign.
The President ED Mnangagwa must encourage him to do the same in order to save the face of his government and Zanu PF. This wasn’t a private company boat but a government boat.
The Minister must gracefully resign today. We had Minister Paddington Garwe resigning due to examination leak so why can’t Hon Mhona resign over loss of so many lives. As Minister he could not have enjoyed cabinet salary and perks presiding over an old (aged) boat system to transport Kariba residents. He has to be sued for abuse and negligence of office and responsibility. President Mnangagwa must fire him if he doesn’t resign coz he abused and failed him on entrusting him with such responsibility.
Zimbabweans we must demand Minister Mhona to resign. He has shamed The President, The Constitution, Zanu PF, The Zimbabweans and The People of Kariba.
