RUSAPE-Manicaland Police is appealing for information that may lead to the arrest of 3 murder suspects, George Jundukwa,Luke Jundukwa and another known as Takudzwa from ZBS Vhengere Rusape who are on the run for the murder Anthony Shumbaimwe(30) of number 2032 ZBS Vhengere.
Manicaland Police acting spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka told The Midweek Watch that on January 22 at around 3am, the late Shumbaimwe was going home from Lily N.C Bar with his girlfriend, Josephine Sekanevana (20) of N.C 512 Rusape where they were drinking beer when they were approached by the trio.
The suspects allegedly attacked the deceased several times on his back with an unknown object and took his particulars and left him for dead.
Shumbaimwe’s body was found by a passerby (name withheld) and informed Josephine who reported the case to the police who took the deceased’s body to Rusape Hospital.
The police are asking for anyone with information on the whereabouts of the three suspects.
