Roman Catholic run Upcoming Shingirai College shines at A Level

MASVINGO – The recently released Roman Catholic Church Masvingo Diocese schools A Level results show that the new kid on the block, Shingirai College in Mucheke saw all its students who sat for the 2023 ZIMSEC exams passing.
Masvingo Diocese has got eleven schools that have A’level students that sat for 2023 ZIMSEC examinations.
Mukaro, Silveira, Shingirai College and St James Chivamba attained a 100% pass rate.
Silveira High in Bikita District, one of the schools that topped the charts in the Diocese had 116 students who sat for 2023 examinations.
They had 65 students who obtained 15+ points in different subjects and their best student had 30 points.
Mukaro in Gutu District which also got a 100% pass rate had 117 students who sat for the recent examinations and they had 41 who obtained 15+ points with the best earning 20 points.
Shingirai College also scored 100% pass rate with 16 students with their best scoring 14 points and St James Chivamba school had a 100% pass rate with only 4 students who sat for the A’ level examinations and their highest score was 13 points.
St Anthony’s in Zaka District took the second place after obtaining 99.1% with 121 students who sat for examinations, 24 students obtained 15+ points and their highest score is 20 points.
Berejena High school in Chivi District settled for third position with 96.3% with a total number of 54 students who sat for examinations, their highest score is 20 points and only 6 students obtained 15+ points.
St Mary’s in Beitbridge had 96.3% pass rate with 53 students who sat for examinations and 19 points as the highest score with 5 students getting 15+ points.
Nyaningwe High in Chivi District obtained 95% with a total number of 20 students who sat for examinations and only four students garnered 15+ points and their highest score is 18 points.
and Gokomere high school obtained 94.8% pass rate with a total number of 96 students who sat for examinations, 16 students scored 15+ points and their highest score is 19 points.
Sacred Heart school obtained 92% pass rate with a total number of 25 students and only 3 students scored 15+ points and their highest score is 19 points and Mutero high school scored 85.3% pass rate with a total number of 34 students who sat for examinations and their highest score is 14 points.
