MASVINGO – The Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) in Zimbabwe run school, Rufaro High in Gutu attained 100% pass rate in the ZIMSEC 2023 A level.
Rufaro had 45 students who sat for the 2023 examinations with 29 girls and 16 boys.
The school’s best student is Natasha Mdheleni who got 18 points followed by Matipa Machangu with 17 points and Blessing Chiduwuro, Mutizwa Slyvia, Fambi Vongai, Mapfumo Panashe and Ruswa Nyeverai all on 15 points.
The school head, Jameson Shumbanhete told The Midweek Watch that the they want pay tribute to the learner, staff and parents for their cooperation which resulted in the pupils attaining the good results.
“The responsible Authority, The SDC Chairperson Dr Maboda and the SDC Executive would like to congratulate all the students who passed their 2023 examinations as they made the school proud,” said Shumbanhete.
“To our dedicated teachers we kindly extend our heartfelt gratitude for your hard work and commitment to excellence, your efforts have resulted in some truly outstanding achievements and we are so proud of you all”.
The school has 15 students who attained 14 points and above.
