ZVISHAVANE- A solitary goal by Brian Zvakare was enough for FC Platinum U19 team to secure the all important three points against another Zvishavane based Ruvimbo Funeral Central Region Division One League club Loss Control FC.
The match was played on Saturday last week at Gresham Primary School ground.
The win comes a week after they got the better of the oldest club in the country, Zvishavane based Shabanie Mine FC by the same scoreline.
The win means now the young miners are on position seven with 13 points with two games in hand as most teams in the league have played 10 games each.
Loss Control FC are on position 10 with seven points on the table a point above 11th placed Shabanie Mine FC.
Loss Control FC coach John ‘ Senior’ Phiri said the team played well, but missed a litany of chances.
” It was a tough loss, we did miss opportunities and we got punished for that and we have to improve in that area,” he said.
