Farai Sithole (30) from Nyanyadzi in Chimanimani District was found hanging from a tree in a case of suspected suicide.
Farai was found by his father Freddy Sithole hanging from a tree at around 5am on Monday 11 November 20m from their homestead, Manicaland Province police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka told The Midweek Watch.
Chinyoka said Freddy Sithole left his son at home on Sunday at 10am and proceeded to his workstation at Gudyanga Business Centre where he is self employed and came back in the evening at around 8pm.
He retired to bed and assumed that his son had also gone to sleep in his bedroom since he had not seen him.
He woke up at 5am and found his son’s body hanging from a tree and reported the matter to Nyanyadzi Police Station and the body was taken to Birchenough Hospital mortuary.
