‘Ngwere’ hitmaker to bring down ancient city

MASVINGO CITY- The Ngwere hitmaker, Jimmy Mudereri a.k.a Silent Killer is set to light up Masvingo on 16 December 2023 at Mucheke showbiz home, Ranks Family Entertainment, The Midweek Watch can exclusively reveal.

The show, pencilled for December 16, will be held at Shop Number 31, Mucheke Light Industry and revellers will have to part ways with just US$5 for festive holidays sweetener.

Ranks Family Entertainment is run by two UK-based Zimbabweans, Victor Niko and Nyasha Mlilo.

Speaking to one of the directors, Niko, told The Midweek Watch that they engaged Silent Killer because he is one of the trending artists in Zimbabwe, for ghetto fans to see him live on stage and also to give local upcoming artists to have an opportunity to share the stage with one of big names in the music industries in the country.

“We hired Silent Killer because he is one of the trending artists in Zimbabwe and we did it for his ghetto fans to see him live and for the local artists to share the same stage with hottest lyrical artist at the moment”, said Niko.

“We are promising fans a very good show and we have several supporting acts from Mbida Dee King of free styles, Zim Pogba the comedian, Shotgun, Dj Bobo Shabba, Dj Simple and other local artists ”.

Speaking to Paul ‘Elder’ Shambare, Silent Killer’s manager, he told The Midweek Watch that this is the second time the ‘Ngirozi yeHondo’ hit maker is coming to Masvingo and people of Masvingo should brace for a ‘Silent Killer’s experience because it is going to be epic.

“Masvingo fans should brace up for a ‘Silent Killer’s experience because it is going to be epic’, said Shambare.

Masvingo, Ranks Family Entertainment has so far brought Jah Master, Bazooka, Lady Bee, Ras Caleb, Pumacol, Ndunge Yut and Hwindi President.

Silent Killer has since released countless songs that made waves in the Zimbabwean music circles amongst them, Guka Makafella, Type Yemadhanzi, Birwai, Bad Like I, Dick, Vabnva Kuwestern and the song of the moment, Ngwere.
