Muvengi appointed Gokomere Mission new head

Masvingo –Emmanuel Muvengi has been appointed Gokomere High School Mission head with immediate effect.

Before his new appointment Muvengi was the head at Danhamombe High School in Chivi.

Masvingo Catholic Diocese Education Secretary, Fr Samson Mutsvanga, confirmed the appointment to The Midweek Watch, expressing optimism about Muvengi’s leadership qualities.

Muvengi brings extensive experience, having served as substantive head at Danhamombe High since 2018 and deputy head at Magura High in Zaka from 2013.

Muvengi’s teaching career spans over two decades, starting at Lundi High in Chivi in 1998 after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts General Degree from the University of Zimbabwe. A practicing Catholic and active member of the Men’s Association of St. Joseph, Muvengi’s roots are in Zaka district.

The Catholic Education fraternity has assured Muvengi of maximum support as he takes up his new duties.

In related news, Bondolfi Secondary School welcomes Precious Itayi Francis Mudefi as its new head who was transferred from Mangondo Secondary in Bikita.

Fr. Mutsvanga confirmed both appointments, wishing the new heads success.
