MBERENGWA –  ZIFA Midlands Province Division 2A league newbies and log leaders dropped their first points of the season after they played out to a thrilling one all draw against Mbesa FC.

This was the first competitive meeting between the two clubs and it lived up to expectations as it was an exciting game filled with flair, goals and the intensity a derby contains.

Jame West FC.

Jame West scored first but as Mbesa always do, they find goals in derbies, they restored parity through a penalty.

This means Jame West’s 100% winning record is over but they are still unbeaten in the league after 12 rounds of matches played.

They have 11 wins and a draw which is a good start in their debut season.

The draw is a welcome result for coach Gutu and Company as they were away from home playing one of the established sides in the league.
