Masvingo Poly lecturer, Nemera laid to rest

Masvingo – Masvingo Polytechnic Automotive Engineering Iecturer, Tomupaishe Nemera was laid to rest at his rural home of Mandiva Village in Chivi South, under Chief Nemauzhe on Monday.
Nemera passed away on May 17, 2024 at Parirenyatwa Group of hospitals.
He was born in 1969 and he did his primary education at Mandiva School and did his ‘O’ Level at Mucheke High School in Masvingo and his ‘A ‘Level at Masvingo Christian College until 1988.
He then enrolled at Harare Institute of Technology where he trained as an auto electrician from 1991 to 1995. After qualifying he was employed by Delta as an auto electrician from 1996 to 1997. From February 1998 to August 2003 he worked for Masvingo Toyota also as an auto electrician.
Nemera joined Masvingo Polytechnic in the Department of Automotive Engineering as a lecturer in 2003, becoming a lecturer in charge of workshops in 2008.
‘’He played a pivotal role in the Automotive Department and participated extensively in the setting and marking of Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO) examinations and also curriculum activities,’’ read a message from the college.
Nemera is survived by his wife Addeveiler Nemera, 4 children 2 boys and 2 girls.
