RUSAPE-A man was run over by an unidentified motorist in a suspected road traffic accident on Christmas eve and died on the spot along Rusape-Nyanga Road at around 8pm.
The unfortunate incident was confirmed by national Police spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi who added that investigations are still underway to bring the culprit to book.
“The ZRP is investigating a fatal hit-and-run road traffic accident in which an unidentified motorist knocked down a 41-year-old man at the 53 km peg along Rusape-Nyanga Road on 24/12/23 at around 2000 hours. The victim died on the spot,” said Nyathi.
