Mai Chisamba dates ancient city

MASVINGO CITY-Popular multi award winning talk show host of Mai Chisamba Show, Rebecca Chisamba will be in the ancient city at Charles Austin Theatre this Friday.

Mai Chisamba last hosted a show in Masvingo on September 26, 2017 at the same venue.

“Everyone is invited to the once in a lifetime show, children and adults are welcome and it is a free show for all who want to attend. It is an opportunity for the people of Masvingo to attend the popular show and also share their thoughts on burning societal issues,” said National Arts Council Provincial Manager for Masvingo, Helen Mudefi.

The Mai Chisamba Show is a famous television production by Rebecca Chisamba a Zimbabwean businesswoman and talk show host well-known as Mai Chisamba who runs Chisamba Productions and Media Consultancy.

Since its start, the show has won various awards including the 2011 Longstanding Talk show at the Victors Awards and Mai Chisamba has also received many personal accolades like the 2003 Communicator of the Year, Best Television Woman Presenter in 2007, NAMA 2008 Best Television Presenter, 2010 Outstanding Woman In Zimbabwe, 2012 Outstanding Woman of Mass Media for Gender Equality and the 2012 Superwoman for Advice and Mentoring Award just to mention a few.       

The show’s focus is on a multitude of topics like cultural, family, as well as social and economic issues, health, marriage, sexual relationships and more.

One of the things that makes Mai Chisamba Show outstanding is that it is held in local language, Shona which makes it easier for the audience to participate and interact.
