Dorothy Bella Tambara nee Mahaso of CSM-The Sanctuary for Renewed Beginnings has been named People’s Choice -Global Impact Award winner of the 2024 Women Changing the World Awards.
The Women Changing the World Awards presented by Oprah Winfrey’s all-time favourite guest, Dr. Tererai Trent, celebrate and recognize women achieving outstanding success in areas such as sustainability, humanitarian work, leadership, advocacy, tech, product development, education, health and innovation. The awards are designed to recognize the growing number of women who are leading the way in making the world a better place for us all and inspire other women to answer the call to take action.

Dorothy Bella is proud of her achievements; in the last 12 months she has been blessed with several accomplishments that have furthered this mission.
First, she co-authored the Amazon bestseller “Permission to Flourish,” which has touched countless lives and provided a roadmap for healing and personal growth. Secondly, she had the honour of co-presenting on the podcast “Living In and With Faith,” with Jai Cornell, Founder and CEO of Women of Worth-International, where she delved into topics of spirituality and resilience, offering hope and inspiration to many. Finally, she spearheaded the Cape Town Convention, which provided a platform for profound transformation and community building among singles who faced relationship pain.
She attributes this success to her unwavering faith, the support of her community, and her relentless passion for empowering others to overcome adversity and embrace their God-given purpose.
