ZVISHAVANE – The Zvishavane Social Soccer League has witnessed a goal-fest over the past two match days, with a total of 71 goals scored across Rounds 27 and 28 played on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, a total of 36 goals were scored, with Anmack delivering a 9-0 hammering of Kufarazvedu.
Sunday’s matches were equally prolific, with McBliss and Farm n City sharing 10 goals as they won 5-0 against Nil Academy and SQ Bombers, respectively. In total, 35 goals were scored on Sunday.
Noelvale Rovers remain top of the league table on goal difference, tied on 61 points with second-placed ZTC after 28 games played.
FC Pote sit third with 59 points, having played a game less than ZTC.
Mandava United’s 1-0 defeat to Anmarck has seen them drop to fourth place, despite having a game in hand over the teams above them.
At the bottom of the table, Nil Academy are facing the prospect of relegation as they continue to struggle.
