Dr Manzungu ascends to the helm of ZBCA

Construction expert and multi award winning business mogul Dr Tinashe Manzungu has been appointed the new president of the powerful Zimbabwe Building Contractors Association and has pledged the growth of the industry during his tenure.

ZBCA is a prominent business member organization in the construction industry and announcing his new appointment on LinkedIn Dr Manzungu said his main aim is to advocate for policies and regulations conducive for the growth of the cut throat industry.

“My focus is on revitalizing the association to drive meaningful improvements that align with the current construction industry boom in Zimbabwe.

“My aim is to advocate for policies and regulations that create a conducive environment for the construction industry’s growth.

“This includes promoting new building standards, fair tender processes, streamlined workflows, and accessible financing options. Regionally and internationally, we will seek partnerships with BMOs in different SADC and AU countries,” he said.

He added that the construction industry is evolving rapidly, and his committed to adopting modern technologies and sustainable practices to enhance Zimbabwe’s development.

“I am grateful for the trust placed in me and the new administration, and I look forward to working with the newly appointed colleagues The Senior Vice President Mr Gerald Chipumha, The Junior Vice president Ms Gaudencia Sigauke and the entire Board to navigate these challenges together. Let’s shape the future of construction in Zimbabwe,” he said.
