MILLICENT HUNGWE
Constable Amanda Katanha, a police officer stationed at ZRP Mazowe, lost her life in a road accident, at around 1840 hours on April 12.
This tragic incident was confirmed by ZRP National Spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi.
Constable Katanha was walking on the extreme side of the road with two other police officers after finishing duty at Dowkins Farm, Concession in Msh Central Province.
The accident happened at the 17-kilometer peg along Mazowe-Centenary Road when a Toyota Probox AGP 8475, with three passengers on board, hit the officer.
Unfortunately, Constable Katanha succumbed to her injuries.
