MASVINGO CITY-Masvingo Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister, Ezra Chadzamira had a one on one meeting with Dillish Makatendeka Masango, the sensational five year old model who is bound for the world pageant in the USA after conquering Africa in Nigeria recently.

The meeting was held at Minister Chadzamira’s office at Benjamin Burombo Building and was attended by members of the media fraternity including Dillish’s parents.

Dillish clinched two titles, Miss Smiles, Miss Popularity and came third in the Miss Toto contest in Lagos.

Minister Chadzamira said the young model had made Masvingo province and the country at large proud by her outstanding achievements on the ramp.

“Masvingo Province is so proud of Dillish for raising the flag of the province high and representing us internationally.

“We want to encourage other parents to identify the talents of their kids at an early stage so that they will become better people in the society.

“Dillish is only 5 years, but she is able to stand her own at the international modelling stage as witnessed by her being shortlisted to go and compete in the USA.

“She has also qualified to go to America in July, we encourage the business community to support with ticket fares and other logistics that may be required for her to participate at this stage to fulfill her ambitions, since the competitions are not sponsored.

“This will go a long way in putting the province and the country on the world map and promote tourism for the nation at large,” Chadzamira said.

Minister Chadzamira went on to thank Dillish’s mother who spent a lot of time moulding such a talent and pouring resources to ensure that the girl is on track to fulfil her dreams
