Breaking! President Mnangagwa appoints Kondongwe Commissioner

Prominent Masvingo based industrialist, vehicle and fuel mogul Sternly Kondongwe has been appointed into the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service commission by President Mnangagwa.

Kondongwe was sworn in at the State House today (Thursday) in morning by President Mnangagwa together with five other commissioners, Simon Madzimure, Albert Mandinika, Rosemary Nyamweda Kanonge, Chipo Mandela and Zimbabwe Electoral Commission chief elections officer Utloile Silaigwana.

Kondongwe runs several service stations in Masvingo, Gweru and Harare and owns infrastructure development company, Jadecon Construction and Engineering as well as Byword Motors which are headquartered in Masvingo.

He is a very humble businessman, farmer, a devout Seventh Day Adventist and a keen golfer as well as president of Masvingo Golf.

He has been at the forefront of helping the needy in Masvingo especially at Mutimurefu Prison and the ZPCS charity programs.
