All the instability, bombings, killings, terrorism, starvation, hunger and suffering which people around the world are experiencing; are brought by greediness and imperialistic tendencies from the west.
First and second world wars were brought up by two chancellors from Germany. They both wanted total control of the world.
Now the citadel of democracy the U.S. is stoking another world war in Ukraine. The United States is a loving big brother which protects the weak from bullies. It has a strong currency which every country in the world deals with. It is mainly concerned with civil liberties and the rule of law. Surely everybody needs to be free and enjoys what the world has to offer.
Unfortunately Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and some BRICS members do not understand this theory. So the US is helping Ukraine with materiel and money to fend off the bear from its back. America was in Cuba, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Laos, Cambodia, Iraq, Libya etc fighting for their rights. By that time the whole world was behind it. Its mainstream media fed us good stories about the country. And we fall for it.
In 2001, 11 September, some terrorists from Saudi Arabia and one from Egypt, rammed two passenger aircrafts in the world trade center popularly know as the twin towers. The whole world was shocked and angered by such a barbaric act on defenceless nationalities. Not only Americans were in the buildings, but nearly every country in the world had one or two of its citizens working in the twin towers.
George W. Bush under emotions then started the ball rolling. Afghanistan was his first call of “tour of duty.” Then Iraq followed, Libya was a walk in the park. Nobody noticed Bush’s brinkmanship and belligerence because everybody was pissed off by these terrorists. We needed a peaceful world devoid of suffering. And anything Islamic was suspicious. We were afraid of the religion.
Russia was in its sorry state and still in shock about its disintegration of the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Its currency was just rubbles as its ‘ ruble’ by then. Putin as an KGB operative was taking notes and bitter about this humiliation from the U.S. Now as the president of Russia he guarded jealously that lost pride. He helped Russia to reclaim its status of being a super power once again.
Other sources say the former U.S.S.R before its meltdown in 1989, Mikhail Gorbachev its former president signed an entente cordiale with American’s Ronald Reagan “that no former Soviet Republic will be a member of the European Union.” And why if it is true Biden is ignoring such an important pact? Can Egypt or Zimbabwe join the European Union? Geographically, it’s impossible; the same applies to Ukraine.
And why the haste to make it a member of the European Union? To satisfy America’s interests, values and security. Donald Trump’s MAGA project is revealing. He doesn’t talk much about civil liberties but “Making America Great Again.” That is the freewheeling l like about him, he reminds me of the late R.G. Mugabe of Zimbabwe. Trump won the elections because of his free mind. He doesn’t read prepared speeches written by strong-armers.
America was and is still the darling of the world hence it must stop its hawkish approach to diplomatic issues. The Taiwan Strait, Ukraine puzzle, the Indo Pacific issues are just out of American bounds. You won the popular or low culture with easy. Third Worlders were fascinated by anything American; from your cheap wrestling, soap operas, rap music etc. And why do you let that opportunity go to waste?
