Acting Masvingo Town Clerk’s centenarian father dies

Masvingo – Acting City of Masvingo Town Clerk, Vitalis Shonhai’s father Benjamin Shonhai has died.
He died last Saturday at the 24 Hr Clinic in ZIMRE Park from a chest infection, Vitalis Shonhai confirmed to The Midweek Watch.
He was 100.
“I can confirm the death of my father, we want to keep on remembering him as a devoted family man and dedicated professional who stood by his family,” said Shonhai.
The centenarian was born in a family of three children, two girls, and one boy. He attended Zimuto Primary and Gokomere High School for his secondary education, before proceeding to Domboshava Training Centre to train as a farm advisor.
Apart from his work as a farm advisor, Benjamin Shonhai was also a successful entrepreneur, having started his own businesses in Bikita, where he lived with his wife and ten children.
Benjamin Shonhai a devout Roman Catholic Church member will be laid to rest at his homestead in Chiremwaremwa Village under Chief Mabika in Bikita tomorrow (10-9-24).
