SHURUGWI-The driver of a Honda Fit died on the spot and four others were injured when the car overturned on a curve.
The accident occurred at the 15km peg along Tongogara-Chachacha Road on May 13, 2023 at around 130am.
It is said that the driver failed to negotiate a curve and the vehicle overturned several times.
The accident scene was attended by the police and the deceased’s body was conveyed to Shurugwi Hospital for post-mortem.
Midlands Provincial Police Spokesperson, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko has urged motorists to exercise caution on the roads.
“Police would like to urge motorists to drive in accordance to the law, safe speed and exercise extra caution,” said Mahoko.
