ZVISHAVANE – Leonah Dube (36) of Neoville in Zvishavane had her car stolen from her homestead during the day as she left it while going to work.

The woman left her Terio Skid Daihatsu registration number AEH 9685 pink in colour parked at home on 24 January 2024, Midlands Province Police spokesperson, Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko told The Midweek Watch.

On Wednesday this week, Dube left home going for work leaving her car locked and parked in the yard and upon  returning home at around 1645 hours, she discovered that her house had been broken into.

As she entered the house, she discovered that her car keys were missing from where she had placed them.

She quickly went to the back yard to check for the vehicle where it was parked and could not find it.

The matter is being investigated by Zimbabwe Police.

“We are appealing to members of the public who might have information that can assist in the recovery of the vehicle and subsequent arrest of the suspect (s) to contact any nearest Police.” Mahoko said.
