MASVINGO- Zanu-PF Masvingo Provincial Chair Robson Mavhenyengwa has acknowledged that the donations from the so called rich people or zvigananda are tearing the party through the middle as they are being done without following protocol.
In his remarks at a funeral of Shamiso Mnangagwa today at President Mnangagwa’s homestead near Mutendi, Mavhenyengwa said all donations should follow proper procedures.
“Your Excellency, we have witnessed the proliferation of unauthorised donations within our party.
“Tinoona zvima goodies zvirikuuya Tinoona zvimota zvirikupiwa ma youths edu ini ndisingazvizivi sa Chairman, tinoti zvinhu ngazvidarike nekwatiri zvifambe negwara rakanaka kuitira kuti musangano ufambe zvakanaka”,he said.
Recently, Presidential adviser Dr Paul Tungwarara donated $180 000 to a number of Varakashi4ED members for their exceptional performance in defending and publicizing President Mnangagwa’s developmental projects with some reportedly turning down the offers.
Tungwarara recently gifted CAB3 fiery critic Rutendo Matinyarare a latest Toyota Land Cruiser and $200 000 cash which went on to cause a furore in the revolutionary party with party youths threatening to impound the vehicle as they felt he does not deserve such pampering after critising the President.
