Zim athletes clinch Gold in Morrocco

ZVISHAVANE -Vimbai Zvinowanda and Kudakwashe Chigwedere clinched Gold medals in their respective 200m paralympics races in Morrocco.
The two are part of the four athletes who are representing Zimbabwe in Morrocco as part of the 2024 Paralympics to be held in France in September.
Tinotenda Bango is set to miss the paralympics as he lost all his two races.
Meanwhile, Clement Nyoni still has a chance if he wins his remaining race.
Their coach, Zvishavane based Elliot Mujaji has confirmed these developments to The Midweek Watch.
“My athletes did very well so far here in Morocco, Vimbai Zvinowanda and Kudakwashe Chigwedere 200m Gold medals, then Clement Nyoni and Tinotenda Bango came 5th and 4th respectively and in the 100m Tinotenda Bango came 4th and Kudakwashe Chigwedere 4th in the 100m, we are left with 400m tomorrow Clement and Vimbai Zvinowanda”, he said.
