MIDLANDS – Mbesa FC produced a stellar performance in the opening day of the ZIFA Midlands Province Division 2A league after thumping Herentals FC 5-1 but faced stiff resistance on the second game away at Pams Academy as they drew one all.
The draw gave 13 Stars the opportunity to leapfrog them at the summit of the log as they thrashed Herentals 3-0.
Sabi Gold Mine FC have now two draws in a row after securing a one all draw against Black Eagles FC.
Great Dyke FC lost 2-0 to Chiponjeka FC.
