1) First met 2001 January @ Chikato Government School. He was born in 1962 and stayed at Kadoma police station. 1972 -Furtherstone ,1972 to Gokwe Mutangi Primary school, 1973-Berejena grade 5 -form 4, 1980-Bondolfi Teachers College.

Started working at Mhangura, went to Alaska and then Chikato 2018 retired at Chikato Governement, December 2018 -Retirement party His wife teaching @ Vurombo. My wife @ Masvingo General Hospital as nurse. We both had families.
2) My wife passed in June 2001. His wife passed in 2003. Both of us remained widowers, stress with status quo cemented friendship. Shared ideas on rearing our children. Went to work by 2 returned by 2. Suffered together by 2. 2006 -2009 vs inflation period. Shared joyous +times, financially, materially and even ideas, sorrows+ smiles. Used our cars to travel up and down and fuelled either car in use by 2. Friendship remained solid and brown all over as 2 moving birds. People would query the absence of either if one went about till today.
3). Father Chitsika had a strokel +resided in Rujeko with Kenny & familyI was his only barber +would not entertain any barber till his death. Father would smile joyfully every moment he saw me with Kenny he had blessed our friendship
4)Chitsika family and Clan appreciated friendship. I had become part of the Chitsika Clan but particulary Kenny’s family-brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, Vazukuru, in laws, and cousins + relatives + Mom clothing from UK sisters etc.
5 )Go-between on Chitsika’s Marriage.My family +brothers + sisters + aunts even my neighbours during my stay in Rujeko knew Kenny as my & sole friend even my working staff. Old as we were on, we would spend nights /sleep together at each other’s place of residence and carry on joyfully.
6 ILLNESS:-
Had Kidney Failure-family and I worked hard for his health. I declared that dialysis be done on him with concurrence of Late Sister, when asked by Dr. Masinire. He was done over a long period & he recovered & it was stopped. At times I took him for dialysis and stay with him in the dialysis ward until his session was over and drive him back home in Rujeko
Whenever he became very ill he would advise me about his condition. His kidneys caused him to apply for early retirement on health grounds from the Noble profession in the MOPSE in 20. I was left extremely lovely at work where I am still! Despite leaving his job our friendship + family relationship remained flourishing as before

Pic, left hand palm fingers badly burnt by medication, sign of severe reaction to medication?? ??Went home – own discharge, I drove him home
24/10/25 Back, I drove him to Makurira
– Gall stones showed from scan
26/10/25
– In pain from gall stones. Malaria was gone & BP stable. Reactions had drastically subsided
– I had developed very painfully lower left abdominal muscle pain since previous Thursday night. Had a scan showed the cause from my left side kidney. Was assisting Kenny while ill from the 23/10/25 till 31/10/20 was off sick from 27/10/25 but would be with him at Makurira daily though I was ill.
31/10/25 he had CT Scan in Gweru, Sister Jennifer accompanied him to and fro. Kenny developed shortness of breath on way back & was attended + arrived back safely.
Later that night Kenny developed shortness of breath again was put on oxygen and improved for a short while. Kennedy passed on between 12 midnight and 1 am that night .I was informed about his demise by his only child Gamu.
Kenny will be laid to rest on Saturday at Zivuku Village in Chivi.
