Unlawful entry at Delta Beverages premises

HARARE- Delta Beverages Pvt Ltd has instituted investigations following an alleged attempt by unknown persons to illegally access its premises at Southerton breweries through a pre-existing water storm drainage tunnel.

In a statement this Wednesday, Delta Beverages said its operations have not been affected since the discovery of the incident on 17 February 2025.

“The incident, which was discovered on 17 February 2025 by Delta Beverages employees, has not caused disruption to our operations,” partly reads the statement.

Delta Beverages said it is working with security agents to find the motive behind this attempted unlawful entry into its premises.

“We are working closely with the police and responsible authorities to determine the veracity of the report and the possible motive and identity of the perpetrators.”

The country’s brewery giant added that it takes the safety and security of its employees, facilities and assets seriously.

It appeals to anyone with information about this incident to report to them or law enforcement agents.

Delta is the biggest maker of beverages in the country and is a listed blue chip entity.
