Today let us rally together to confront a weight that burdens many of us: the weight of holding grudges, accusations, and hate towards those closest to us – family, relatives, and friends.
We have all been hurt, betrayed, or wronged at some point, but it is time to realize that holding onto these emotions only poisons our own well-being.
The Effects of Unforgiveness:
– Toxic relationships
– Emotional distress
– Mental health struggles
– Physical ailments
– Spiritual disconnection
The Power of Forgiveness:
– Freedom from emotional bondage
– Restored relationships
– Inner peace and healing
– Renewed purpose and joy
– Deepened spiritual connection
Forgiveness is not:
– Forgetting the past
– Excusing harm
– Condoning wrongdoing
– Ignoring justice
Forgiveness is:
– Releasing the negative emotions associated with the hurt
– Choosing to see the humanity in the offender
– Letting go of the need for revenge or payback
– Embracing mercy and compassion

How to Forgive:
– Acknowledge your pain and emotions
– Pray for the strength to forgive
– Let go of the need for justice (leave it to God )
– Choose to see the good in the person
– Extend kindness and compassion
Remember, forgiveness is a journey, not a destination. It is a process that requires effort, support, and patience. But the rewards are immeasurable.
– You are not a prisoner of your past
– You are not defined by someone else’s actions
– You have the power to choose freedom
Let us release the weights that hold us back and embrace the liberating power of forgiveness. Let us choose to see the beauty in our relationships and the goodness in those around us.
Bible Verses
– “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (Matthew 6:14-15)
– “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” (Colossians 3:13)
– “Get rid of all bitterness, rage, and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:31-32)
– “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” (Mark 11:25)
– “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” (Luke 6:37)
In the words of Nelson Mandela,
“As I walked out of the door toward the gate that would lead to my freedom, I knew if I didn’t leave my bitterness and hatred behind, I would still be in prison.”

Do not despise humble beginnings. By Prof. Frederick
Every great achievement starts with a small step, a seed planted in the ground. The mighty gum tree begins as a tiny seed, the majestic eagle begins as a fragile egg. Your humble beginnings are not a limitation, but a foundation for growth. Remember, Jesus himself began in a humble manger, and look what he achieved. Don’t underestimate the power of small beginnings. Embrace them, nurture them, and watch them grow into something mighty. Don’t despise your humble beginnings, for God can turn them into something glorious.
As the saying goes, “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” (Nelson Mandela)
“Zechariah 4:10: “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” HCC
