The Deceptive Nature of ‘Democracy’ as a system of Governance…

Date:

BY KENNETH DUMBURA

Democracy is an agent of neocolonialism, it’s a short-term monarchy system of government, I called it government as a weapon, it has always been a watchdog for our colonial masters, which they are using as a means of interfering in our decision-making process with the name of foreign aid. Democracy is an atomic bomb designed by the West to disturb the existing peace between the people and their politicians.

If we should have listened to Julius Nyerere Asia and Africa should have refused such a system of government. How many countries in Africa and Asia have developed under a democratic system of government? Democracy is a political party’s life-changing government, is a steal your own and leave mine system of government. When our leaders are elected under the democratic system of government their first four or five years are to enriching themselves and stealing money for their great-grandchildren yet unborn.

Moreover, under democracy the executive head which is the president or prime minister appoints the Judiciary head and has the jurisdiction to determine his/her tenure of office he also controls the decision of the legislative, they only make or amend laws that are in favor of the president not in the interest of the people.

Under democracy Corruption itself has a formula by which it operates, corruption is equal to executive plus legislature plus judiciary because when these three organs are united corruption has an immune to stay in every sector and none of them will be checking each other only the opposition members will be oppressed, under democracy they are separated but not functionally separated reason be the power of the executive supersede the other organs of government….

There is need for alternative system (model) of Governance that is pro- people by the people and for the people…
