MIDLANDS- Title chasing TelOne FC have leapfrogged army side Tongogara Fc at the summit of the Ruvimbo Funeral Central Region Division One League after a convincing 3-1 walloping of Kwekwe United.

The match was played at Ascot Stadium on Saturday afternoon and the WiFi Boys as TelOne is affectionately known by its legion of followers knew that they cannot afford any slip ups and delivered a crucial win which came as Tongogara dropped two points away at Blanket Mine FC after playing out to a thrilling three all draw.

The result means that the WiFi Boys are now leading the table with 17 points from its seven games played having registered five wins and two draws and is one of the three clubs still to taste defeat in the league alongside Full FC and Tongogara who are two points adrift at the summit.
