MIDLANDS – The title may have already been decided but, much is expected when champions TelOne FC and second placed Tongogara FC meet in season closure encounter this Saturday at Tongogara Stadium.
The fixture was confirmed to The Midweek Watch by the Ruvimbo Funeral Central Region Soccer League Acting Vice Chairperson Thomas Marambanyika.
TelOne FC are the champions after their 5-0 hammering of MSU FC as they top the table with 61 points six ahead of their opponents who sit second with 55 points from 25 matches played.
The match maybe considered a dead rubber by the majority but there is plenty to play for with Tongogara out to keep their unbeaten run of the season intact as they are the only team to have not lost a match.
Other fixtures see Chapungu hosting Dulibadzimu FC while Shabanie FC will be away to Kwekwe United. Blanket Mine host FC Platinum U19.
