KADOMA CITY-Last Saturday people from a cross section of backgrounds converged in Kadoma for a rare leg of the annual Castle Lager Braai Festival at Speedway Bar and Grill.

The event comes as part of a coterie of provincial micro braai events before the penultimate 10th edition at Glamis Arena in Harare on October 25 this year.
The micro festivals will be taken to selected venues in other provinces across the country before the curtain down for the final main leg in Harare.
Running under the theme ‘A Celebration Of Braai and Friendship’, the braai festivals are warming up the mood and morale for the big one at the ceremonial home of entertainment in the capital.
The Speedway instalment lived up to expectations as the crowd was wowed to music from the turn tables by capable DJs on duty that day.
Chillspot Family stepped up to dish their usual polished performance that kept the crowd on its feet. The duo of DJ Fantan and Levels was a marvel as they spiced their act for the frenzied crowd.
It was a night were HKD Boss, Freeman, born Emegy Sylvester Chizanga also showed his prowess with a memorable show befitting a chart topping artist. He played most of his hits which reverberated with the sing along crowd.
Each micro braai feat has a different cast of performers with the big one carrying a heavier load of top regional and local artists.
South African Gqom master DJ Tira will bring his act to Harare on the final festival this year. He will face off on stage with local giant, Winky D a.k.a Gaffer, Kanjiva hitmaker Enzo Ishal, Nutty O, Master H, Quonfuzed, Ex Q, Tamy Moyo and Heavy K complete the final cast. The line up of performers on the final day of the festival this year is a musical bomb.
Speedway proprietor, Welly Maketa, was satisfied with the event at his venue and thanked organizers together with patrons for the resounding success.
