MASVINGO – Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have been invited to participate in the Sanganai/Hlanganani/Dzimbahwe World Tourism Expo 2026, which will be held in Masvingo from September 9 to 12.
Preparations for the expo are at an advanced stage in Masvingo, with government and tourism authorities intensifying coordination to ensure a successful hosting of the international event. Infrastructure upgrades, site inspections and stakeholder engagements have been stepped up as the province positions itself to welcome exhibitors and visitors from across the region and beyond.
The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) said the expo will provide SMEs with an opportunity to showcase their products and services, connect with potential customers and business partners, increase brand visibility and explore new market opportunities.
“Sanganai/Hlanganani/Dzimbahwe provides a unique platform for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to showcase their products and services, connect with potential customers and business partners, increase brand visibility, and explore new market opportunities,” the ZTA said.
To support SME participation, exhibition space is being offered at a subsidised fee of US$150, which includes a 3m by 3m pagoda tent, one table and two chairs.
However, exhibitors will be responsible for their own accommodation and transport arrangements during the four-day tourism expo.
The ZTA said space was limited and participation would only be confirmed upon registration and payment, encouraging businesses to book early to secure exhibition space.
The expo is expected to bring together tourism and travel industry players, creating opportunities for local businesses to network and gain exposure to potential clients and business partners.
