According to Masvingo Province Police deputy spokesperson Masauso Patinyu Goredema parked his black Honda fit at Simrac at around 8pm, as he stepped out of the car, a man approached him with a proposal to hire his car to take a friend to Wimpy and then to Caravan Park.

Eventually, the stranger threw Goredema out of the car, before he went away with the car.
