Shekinah media to celebrate Africa Day in style

Shekinah Media, in partnership with Women’s Development Organisation (WEDO), is proud to present Celebrate Brunch Africa, a spectacular event commemorating Africa Day on May 24, 2025.

The event will take place at the Village Restaurant run by veteran educationist Paidamoyo Majaya in Masvingo City industial area from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Media guru Angline Mikiri, Director of Shekinah Media and Country Ambassador for United Nations WEDO, emphasized the importance of such events in promoting African unity and progress.

“Brunch Africa is more than just a gathering, it is a movement towards a more conscious and connected Africa, we are bringing together thought leaders, innovators, and change makers to rethink, reshape, and propel Africa forward,” said Mikiri.

“Brunch Africa is a testament to our commitment to celebrating African identity, industry, and influence. We are bringing together the crème de la crème of Pan-African leaders, innovators, and change makers to redefine Africa’s narrative and propel the continent forward,” she said

She added that the event will feature a power panel discussion, fashion showcase, cultural performance, and networking opportunities. Renowned speakers, including Dr. Teclah Ponde Project implementation leader at Voluntary service Overseas and Dr. Claris Mudzengi Manager, researcher center for creative thinking GZU, will share insights on Africa’s progress and future directions.

“Celebrate Brunch Africa is an opportunity for us to come together, celebrate our diversity, and forge meaningful connections that will drive Africa’s growth and development,” Mikiri added.
