GWERU- Second half goals from Thubelihle Jubane and Hillary Bakacheza were enough for Sheasham FC aka Construction Boys to collect maximum points against flamboyant Bulawayo Chiefs.

The match was a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League matchday 26 encounter that was played at Bata Stadium in Gweru on Sunday ( October 8, 2023).

The win for the Construction Boys came after a scintillating draw against Highlanders and they now sit on 30 points from 26 games after priceless 2-1 victory over Chiefs.

The Construction Boys fell behind in the 38th minute but they rallied back in the second half to score two goals which to boost their slim chances of staying afloat in the PSL.

This is their second win in three  games and they left their gaffer Lizwe Sweswe a relieved man as he appreciated the team’s resilience especially in the second half.

The win is their sixth of the season with 12 draws and eight defeats.
