MASVINGO-Speciss College chief executive officer, Wilson Seremani scooped the 2024 Southern Tours golf tournament, barely a week after clinching the St Giles charity tourney held in Harare.

The annual Southern Tours golf tourney which was sponsored by Dube, Manikai and Hwacha Legal Practitioners and Speciss College was held on Friday and Saturday last week and attended by 37 players.

In a remarkable display of skill and dedication, Seremani outplayed a field of talented golfers to take home the top prize. Both Seremani and Edwin Manikai were part of the sponsors of the tournament, demonstrating their commitment to supporting the gentlemen’s game that they love most.

The tournament was made even more special by a generous donation from Sports for All Trust which is meant to support sport for the less privileged, who gave groceries worth $2000 which was realised from the tournament to Ratidzo ZimCare School and Alfred Walter Hostels.

This donation is set to make a significant difference in the lives of the inmates who recently sent an SOS through The Midweek Watch.

“We are happy to have been a part of this amazing event, to emerge victorious is a dream come true, and we are grateful to Sports for all Trust for their support,” said Seremani

Manikai echoed Seremani’s sentiments, adding how proud they were.

“We are proud to have been part of this tournament, and we look forward to many more exciting times in the future as we continue to be part of this charity cause,”said Manikai.

The tournament was a resounding success, with golf enthusiasts and spectators alike enjoying the thrilling competition.

In 2023 Southern Tours golf tournament was won by former OK Supermarkets chief executive officer, Alex Siyavora.
