HARARE-The country’s first mobile telecommunications company, NetOne continues to innovate for the benefit of all sectors of the economy with the introduction of a revolutionized Freedom Bundles that has evolved from Khuluma 24/7.

Freedom Bundle has added more packages to its predecessor, Khuluma 24/7 for more convenience to clients across the information communication technology (ICT) board.
The Freedom Bundles, new and richer in packages are a transformation of the popular Khuluma 24/7 package into a more empowering proposition. While maintaining affordability, NetOne has now added short message sending (SMS) and data benefits to the former, Khuluma 24/7 now Freedom Bundles. These new additions table Freedom Bundles as a go-to-get product to ensure that customers enjoy a complete communication experience without stretching their budgets.
Freedom Bundles have added communication packages starting from highly affordable lower rung parcels from as low as US$0.20 allowing a customer to enjoy 20 on-net minutes valid for a day. It’s sister package can be purchased at US$0.50 giving a client a total 45 on-net minutes. The middle order packages come in US$1.30, US$2.00 and US$5 offering data on top of voice minutes and SMSs. The catch on these packages bring 560 total minutes, 420 all-net 140 on-net 150 SMSs and 830MB of data. The elephant in the house is the US$12 package that has a total 700 minutes, 530 of that offer all-net, 170 are enjoyed on-net with 200MB complementing the offer 200 SMSs and 1100MB data spanning that 30 day duration.
Communication brings people from various geographical locations and persuasions together. In that breath, the importance of communication affords a parent a window of reassurance that their child has arrived safely on various errands like at school, shopping centre or public gathering. In the same vein, a text message helps a small business to secure its next customer thereby broadening market reach. A few megabytes of data allows learners in both rural and urban communities to access learning materials. This comes with more for the rural learner who would otherwise find it difficult to access those learning materials. The benefits stretch to an entrepreneur who can conveniently market products to customers from any location.
As an enabler of opportunity creation, communication strengthens relationships, grows businesses and transforms lives.
It is this understanding that has inspired NetOne to introduce its new Freedom Bundles, a customer-focused offering designed to give Zimbabweans more ways to communicate. Concomitantly, NetOne customers enjoy more value for their money, coupled by more freedom to connect with what matters most.
“At NetOne, we believe that communication should never be a barrier to opportunity. It should be an enabler of dreams, aspirations and progress. The freedom bundles have therefore been carefully crafted to meet the realities of modern life, where people need more than just voice calls. Today’s customer wants to talk, text, browse, learn, work, transact and engage with the world from the palm of their hand,” says NetOne in a press release announcing the new offering.
From students preparing for examinations, farmers seeking market information, entrepreneurs growing businesses, to families staying connected across provinces and offshore, the freedom bundles are designed to support every Zimbabwean’s journey.
Available from as little as US$0.20 up to US$12, the bundles provide flexibility and choice, allowing customers to select a package that best suits their communication needs and financial circumstances.
More Than Bundles
In demonstrating a commitment to national development,
the introduction of freedom bundles is not merely about telecommunications products, it reflects NetOne’s continued commitment to supporting Zimbabwe’s socio-economic transformation agenda.
As Zimbabwe advances towards Vision 2030 bouyed by National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2), affordable access to communication services remains critical for economic growth, digital inclusion, education, healthcare delivery and entrepreneurship.
The whole communication spectrum creates possibilities across sectors. It opens doors to knowledge, business opportunities, financial inclusion and social interaction. The varied communication streams help bridge distances between communities and ensure that no Zimbabwean is excluded from participating in the digital economy.
“As a proudly Zimbabwean telecommunications operator, NetOne remains committed to connecting communities, empowering citizens and driving innovation that improves lives,” assures NetOne through the press release.
Easy and Convenient Access
Accessing the new Freedom Bundles is simple and convenient.
Customers can subscribe by dialling *171# and following the prompts, purchasing them through the OneMoney platform, using available airtime and electronic recharge channels and/or visiting any NetOne shop, franchise or authorized agent nationwide.
There is a guiding vision behind the introduction of this innovative package bundle.
Freedom means different things to different people.
For a student, freedom means access to information.
To a mother, means staying connected to her children. A farmer may interpret that notion as accessing market opportunities, while an entrepreneur depicts the same concept as reaching customers and growing a business.
On a national scale Zimbabwe’s freedom means connecting the nation through technology that empowers every citizen to realize their full potential.
“At NetOne, we understand that communication is not simply about technology, it is about people, relationships, opportunities and dreams. The Freedom Bundles are therefore more than a product, rather, a promise to continue delivering affordable, accessible and meaningful connectivity to every Zimbabwean, everywhere.”
