PSMAS exhibits at 2024 ZITF

Premier Service Medical Aid Society (PSMAS) is excited to announce its participation in the 64th Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), which is currently underway.

PSMAS’s participation at the 2024 ZITF is primarily intended to educate its members about medical aid and the Society’s commitment to enhancing members’ health and wellness.

Running under the theme “Health Innovation: A Catalsyt for Industrialization and Trade”, PSMAS is offering product knowledge for both the public sector and private sector as well as wellness screening via the automated Health ATM machine. With this innovation members can be screened for blood pressure, blood sugar, prostate cancer and diabetes mellitus.

In addition to this, PSMAS plans to introduce Telehealth a programme that will use technology and personalized communication to transform healthcare access for its members. This initiative will focus on primary care services provided by General Practitioners, including initial and follow up care for non-emergency medical cases. The platform will predominantly target members with acute or chronic medical conditions that do not require emergency care as bookings are based on available slots and first come first serve basis.

PSMAS Telehealth represents a significant leap forward in improving healthcare accessibility for PSMAS members as the organisation moves towards revitalising its service delivery.

This complements other platforms that the Society has enhanced to better serve its members  and increase member convenience which include a PSMAS 247 Mobile App, Contact Centre which is operational from 8am to 10pm every day, WhatsApp platform and feedback emails.

Deputy Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Willard Manungo, Zimbawe Prisons and Correctional Services, Commissioner General Moses Chihobvu (in floral shirt), Health and Child Care Minister Dr Douglas Mombeshora, his deputy Sleiman Kwidini, Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Secretary Nick Mangwana and Secretary for Presidential Affairs in the Office of the President Engineer Tafadzwa Muguti are some of the   dignitaries who visited the PSMAS stand.
